Introducing Neo Creatio

Neo Creatio: What Does It Mean?

Neo Creatio is a Latin phrase. It means “new creation.”

Why choose this name for a blog? For years, I’ve wanted to recreate something like Standing Alone. This was a blog-type site that inspired young Christians by giving them a platform to share their faith. Now, a new generation has that opportunity.

As Christians, we are new creations. This happens through baptism. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, and see, the new has come!” This brings eternal hope.

2 Corinthians 5:1-2 reminds us our bodies will fade. We have an eternal dwelling waiting in heaven. It’s a home “not made with hands.” We eagerly await this hope.

Let’s Encourage Each Other

The path to that promise can feel narrow. We may feel isolated. But God, in His wisdom, created the church. It’s a family, a community that is set apart. Jesus warned the world would hate us. (John 15:18-19). But, we are not alone. God’s Word repeatedly encourages us to lean on each other. (Galatians 6:2, 1 Thessalonians 5:11, James 5:16).

We must follow God’s commands. Encourage each other. Build each other up. Equip ourselves for the spiritual battles we encounter. 1 Peter 5:8 warns of the prowling enemy, Satan. Ephesians 6:11 calls us to wear God’s armor. We all build up the body of Christ (Ephesians 4:12).

Let’s never forget our identity. We are new creations in Christ. Let’s renew our commitment daily. Let’s serve Christ and each other.
